5P423-14-6492 Hazardous Tree Removal, Jasper National Park Parks Canada Agency requires a Contractor for ground based logging of hazardous trees in Jasper National Park. The work consists of the removal of selective hazardous trees in Whistler and Pocahontas Campgrounds and includes ground based logging methods, mechanized brush piling as well as manual treatments. The work is scheduled to start upon contract award and must be completed no later than March 31, 2014. Closing Date: October 28, 2013 (MDT) An optional site visit will take place on October 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Bidders are to meet at the main shower building inside Whistler Campground, Jasper N.P. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority not later than two (2) days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance. National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act. Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered. Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.
