Contract Duration: Award of Contract to 31 March 2015, with option to renew for one additional one year period.
Objective: The aim of this contract is to carry out refuse and cardboard removal at the following location: Department of Fisheries & Oceans, Canadian Coast Guard, 280 Southside Road, St. John’s, NL.
The following is a list of Class of services required:
1) 8 cu. yd. garbage containers X 10
2) 6 cu. yd. cardboard containers X 6
3) Pier 11- 6 cu. yd. containers – pickup as required and instructed by Yard Foreman
A site visit has not been scheduled at this time but all parties tendering are advised to examine the site of the proposed work prior to submitting their tenders, and become thoroughly acquainted with same and obtain any and all information that may be necessary and requisite to properly execute contract.

It is further requested that all clarification and questions be received not later than seventy two (72) hours prior to the closing date and time. Although every attempt will be made, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans cannot guarantee that clarification or questions received beyond this time period will be answered prior to the RFP closing date and time.
Requests will be answered by the Buyer or forwarded to the appropriate technical contact for reply. Dependent on their nature, comments or answers will be returned via email from the Buyer or through an addendum to the RFP should the information be applicable to all Proponents.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
