ET022-132073/A - Regina RF UST Removal

Work under the proposed contract comprises of the furnishing of
all labour, materials, equipment, and supervision for the
Underground storage tank removal project in Regina,
Saskatchewan, as more fully described in the Drawings and
Specifications.

To manage the removal and disposal of an existing underground
storage tank system (one - 4500L gasoline tank and one - 4500L
diesel tank including concrete pad, bollards, island, pumps,
piping, vent lines, disconnect all wiring and associated
accessories) as well as removal and disposal of impacted soil at
the Agriculture Canada Research Facility located at 5000 Wascana
Parkway, Regina, Saskatchewan. All work to be completed in
accordance to the specifications and in compliance with all
relevant codes, guidelines, standards, criteria, Acts and
regulations. The excavation will be backfilled and compacted
with gravel only. An existing clean AST system is to be removed
and disposed of. Mitigation measures summarized in the
Environmental Assessment Report shall be implemented.
According to the Phase III ESA completed in 2010 there is
approximately 390 cubic meters of PHC impacted soil proximate to
the existing UST concrete pad.

There will be a site visit on December 7, 2012 at 9:30am.
Interested bidders are to meet at the facility building or the
gate at the former Agriculture Canada Research Facility, 5000
Wascana Parkway, Regina, SK.
