The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) requires a firm that is qualified under Work-Stream 4: Forensic Audits of the Professional Audit Support Services (PASS) Supply Arrangement to provide the services of an external service provider with expertise in investigative services and techniques. The service provider (hereafter referred to as the ‘Investigator’) will be asked to perform an investigation into, and analysis of, various activities including the use and application of procurement, contracting and hiring policies and processes in order to determine if there are any breaches of the Values and Ethics Code for the Public Service, the CFIA’s Code of Conduct, or the CFIA’s Conflict of Interest and Post-Employment Code.
