CFIA requires warehousing, distribution and printing services for seed tags in pinfeed and single versions for various locations (consignees) throughout Canada.
The purpose of the proposed contract is the supply of warehousing, distribution and printing services for CFIA in various locations throughout Canada. Warehousing services include the provision of suitable, accessible, secure space for storage of tags. Distribution services include printing, labeling, inserting, sealing, gathering, packing and sorting to prepare tags for mailing and shipping.
The Contractor will provide production, restocking, warehousing, printing, inventory management and distribution services as detailed in this Statement of Work. It is understood that the inventory of tags is contractor funded. One warehouse location is required for all Inventory items.
The contract will be for a period of 2 years with three one year options.
The CFIA’s estimated for this requirement, including option periods, is of approximately $150,000.00, before taxes.
