Full description

The National Capital Commission (NCC) requires the services of an electrical contractor to maintain the Lac Philippe power system and to provide emergency services relating to the Lac Philippe Power Line located in the Municipality of LaPêche, QC. The Contractor shall hold a valid license issued by the Corporation of Master Electricians of Québec to perform the work described in this request for services and repair of electrical medium voltage networks.

The duration of the contract will be a period of three (3) years starting June 29, 2015 plus two (2) options to extend for one (1) year each at the same terms and conditions.

To be considered, your proposal must be received no later than 3 p.m. Ottawa time on June 11, 2015 at the National Capital Commission, 3rd Floor Service Centre, 40 Elgin Street in Ottawa, Canada, K1P 1C7, with a reference to tender file #NG305. Email or late submissions will not be accepted.

Enquiries regarding this tender must be submitted in writing as early as possible within the solicitation period to the Senior Contract Officer, Nicole Galipeau by email at n••••••••@•••••••.ca or by facsimile at 613-239-5007, and the telephone number is 613-239-5678 ext. 5191. Enquiries should be received no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided. To ensure consistency and quality of the information provided to Bidders, the Senior Contract Officer shall examine the content of the enquiry and shall decide whether or not to issue an amendment. All enquiries and other communications related to this tender sent throughout the solicitation period are to be directed ONLY to the Senior Contract Officer named above. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period can, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a tender.

Note that amounts quoted in this RFP are in Canadian dollars. Payment is net is 30 days.

A public tender opening will be held on June 11, 2015 shortly after 3:00pm Ottawa time at 40 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario in Room 306.
