Nature of Requirements:
Fire Suppression Systems & Backflow Preventor Maintenance, Cold
Lake, AB

For the supply of all labour, materials, tools, equipment,
transportation and supervision necessary for, regular
inspection, testing, maintenance and certification on all Fire
Suppression Extinguishing Systems and all Backflow Preventors
as detailed in the Statement of Work and Annex "A" of the
solicitation documents, on an "as and when requested" basis, for
the Department of National Defence, 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta.

Mandatory Site Visit
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
visit to be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm at
the Department of National Defence, Cold Lake, Alberta. All
interested bidders are to meet at Building 785 Military Police
Station. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting
Authority no later than November 2, 2012 to confirm attendance
and provide the names of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders
must provide their Drivers License Number when confirming their
attendance so that an access pass can be processed. Bidders
must bring photo identification to the site visit or they will
be refused acccess to the site. Bidders will be required to
sign an attendance form.. Bidders should confirm in their bids
that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not
attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment and their bids will be rejected as non-compliant.
Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.

Security Clearance:
The Contractor and all personnel requiring access to the site
will be required to hold a valid "Reliability Status" Security
Clearance.

Code of Conduct:
"IMPORTANT NOTICE: New measures related to Code of Conduct and
certifications included in the solicitation documents requires
attention."

Period of Standing Offer::
The Standing Offer will be in place from date of issuance for a
thirty-six (36) month period.

Response Time:
The Contractor shall be made available on a 24/7 day a week
basis, and must respond and action service parts and repair
requests within three days from receipt of notice or call.
Emergency calls must be actioned within four hours of receipt.
