Nature of Requirements:
Work: Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC)
publishes this Invitation to Tender for building cleaning
services for the Department of National Defence (DND).

Client: Cadet camp - 3 Wing Bagotville, Alouette, Quebec.

Contract Period: From June 1st, 2013 to May 31, 2014 with three
years in option.

Work Period: Summer period only - from the beginning of June to
the end of August.

Cleaning Area: The cleaning area is estimated at 6,202 square
meters.

Traffic on Site:
a) Start of camp (for about two weeks): A thorough clean-up must
be conducted during the month of June. There will be no cadets
present during this period.
b) During camp (6 to 7 weeks): Regular household maintenance
must be conducted from the beginning of July to the middle of
August. We estimate that there will be about 1,000 people per
day during this period.
c) End of camp (for about two weeks): Regular maintenance will
continue but with fewer and fewer people from the middle to the
end of August. We estimate that there will be about 100 people
per day during this period. A thorough clean-up must be
conducted without "stripping and polishing the floors."

Bidders' Conference:
A bidders' conference will be held at 3 Wing Bagotville,
Alouette, Quebec on April 16, 2013 at 9 a.m at building 62
(Groupe Infrastructure).

Mandatory Site Visit:
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for
site visit to be held on April 16, 2013 immediately after the
bidders' conference.

This Public Works and Government Services Canada office provides
procurement services to the public in both official languages.
