Nature of Requirements:
THE NATIONAL BATTLEFIELDS COMMISSION (NBC) LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
Statement of Work
Supply qualified personnel, materials, tools, equipment and all
other supplies or knowledge needed to carry out the work and
ensure the transportation and supervision required for the
landscape maintenance work required on the grounds of the
National Battlefields Commission (NBC). Work shall be in
accordance with the statement of work outlined in the enclosed
Annex A and Plans outlined in the enclosed Annex C of the
Request for Proposal. The work area is approximatively of 75
hectares.
Note: Take into consideration that certain parcels in this
contract have very steep grades.
Bidders' Conference
A bidders' conference will be held at La Maison de la
Découverte, 835 Wilfrid-Laurier avenue, quebec, G1R 2L7, on
February 21, 2012. The conference will begin at 9h00.
Term of Contract
Period of the Contract
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to January
31 2014 inclusive.
Period of Work
The Work is to be performed during the period of April 1 to
November 30 of each year.
Option to Extend the Contract
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend
the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1)
year period under the same conditions.
Mandatory technical Criteria
Bidders must have successfully served and completed, at least
one (1) contract of similar scope and in the same field as
required herein, and this, within the past three years from the
date of the closing of bids.
Financial security
Bidders must provide bid financial security.
The Contractor must provide the Contracting Authority with
financial security within 10 calendar days after the date of
contract award

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
