Nature of Requirements:
National Research Council Canada (NRC) wishes to purchase a lab-scale underwater pelletizing unit, for the production of beads and microbeads from standard polymers. The unit must also be used for R&D works, in which it is mandatory that the water pressure in the cutting chamber be adjustable to high pressure levels. The system must include a polymer diverter valve, an underwater pelletizing unit, a temperature-controlled water pumping unit, a centrifugal dryer and a centralized control cabinet.
