The NPP should contain as much of the tombstone data that is known at the time of publishing the RFI. This portion would be the same as any NPP.

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFIFRI) is to provide The Department of National Defence with information from industry on potential solutions and strategies for the testing of oxygen purity for Aviator’s Liquid Oxygen (LOX) and Aviator’s Breathing Oxygen (ABO) samples.

This Request for Inforamtion (RFI) will provide a point of official communication with industry to allow multiple fucnctions to occur:
To provide current documentation to industry in order to solicit comments and feedback;
To provide the current draft RFP documentation in order to solicit comments and feedback;
To collaborate with industry on techncial requirements;
To collaborate with industry on the procurement strategy;
To answer questions from industry to ensure all interestd participants receive the same information; and,
To provide the anticipated schedule.This is not a bid solicitation. This RFI will not result in the award of any contract, nor result in the creation of any source list; therefore, whether or not any potential supplier responds to this RFI, it will not preclude that supplier from participating in any future procurement. The information obtained pursuant to this RFI may or may not be used in any Request for Qualification (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) at a future date. The Government of Canada will not reimburse any respondent for expenses incurred in responding to this RFI.

Respondents with questions regarding this RFI may direct their enquiries to the Contracting Authority identified herein. Since this is not a bid solicitation, Canada will not necessarily respond to all enquiries in writing or by circulating answers to all potential suppliers. Enquiries may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
CLOSING DATE
This RFI may be augmented with additional phases, and may include a call for input from industry. A response is not required at this time. The RFI closing date published herein is therefore not the final deadline for comments or input. The FRI closing date may be extended if and when subsequent phases are initiated.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
