Nature of Requirements:
This procurement has been set aside under the federal
government's Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business
(PSAB). In order to be considered, a supplier must certify that
it qualifies as an Aboriginal business as defined under PSAB and
that it will comply with all requirements of PSAB.
This is a Requisition on Contract (ROC) for the Department of
Health Canada for test kits and associated equipment as reagents
and other appropriate supplies and equipment needed for regular
sampling and testing and Quality Assurance/Quality Control
(QA/QC) for on-site testing drinking water for E-coli and total
coliforms in accordance with all the mandatory specifications
detailed in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Delivery will be
made on and as when requested basis to various Health Canada
regional offices across Canada. The ROC will be from the date
of contract for a period of five (5) years.
This amendment is raised to extend the closing date from 2nd
January 2013 to 7th January 2013.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
