The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement for the modeling of wildfire burn probability on 43 pre-defined study areas using the Burn-P3 wildfire simulation model/program.
The objective of this contract is to complete a wildfire risk analysis for a total of 43 hexels (study areas) using the Burn-P3 wildfire simulation model/program.
Deliverables from the Burn-P3 analysis will include burn probability grids (250m resolution) and statistics tables for each of the 43 hexels as well as advanced outputs calculated using the Canadian Fire Behaviour Prediction (FBP) System; specifically, Fire Intensity, Crown Fraction Burned, Fuel Consumption.
In addition, the perimeters of all simulated fires will also be recorded and saved in shapefile format.
The buyer plans to award this contract to a named supplier without competition. If your business can do this work, send a statement of capabilities to the contracting authority before November 6, 2018. If it qualifies, the buyer must open a full competition.
