GETS NOTICE for SEL: 2016-PCE-SOUTHSUDAN-2:

Please be advised that the Request for Proposal (RFP) SEL.: 2016-PCE-SOUTHSUDAN-1, as posted on Canada’s Government Electronic Tendering Services (GETS) website (https://buyandsell.gc.ca) on April 17, 2015, is cancelled and will be reissued pursuant to paragraph 20.1 (f) Rights of DFATD of the RFP’s Section 1 “Instructions to Bidders”.

During the course of DFATD’s evaluation of proposals submitted under the above-mentioned RFP, it became evident that a latent defect exists in Form TECH-6A, the form that Bidders were instructed to use in response to mandatory requirements M3.1, M3.2 and M3.3. This defect rendered a determination of the proposals’ compliance with the mandatory requirements, and their evaluation, impossible.

A revised RFP, correcting the latent defect, clarifying the instructions to bidders related to the completion of the forms and the type of information to be provided in order to in demonstrate the evaluation criteria, will be reissued pursuant to paragraph 20.1 (f) Rights of DFATD of the RFP’s Section 1 “Instructions to Bidders”. The requirements of the procurement will not be substantially modified, and DFATD will only invite Bidders who responded to the initial RFP to submit new proposals within the period of time stipulated by DFATD in the reissued RFP.”
