The Review requires support by one (1) Business Analyst for Real Property (hereafter referred to as the ‘Resource’).
In support of Review objectives, the GC real property portfolio is being analyzed through the following lenses: governance, portfolio management, leveraging, funding sustainability, divestiture, and information management. The analysis will identify improvement opportunities by asset class (inclusive of assets such as office, housing, training and security) in areas such as policy, portfolio strategies, investment planning, asset management and key competencies needed to manage real property.
The Resource will undertake an in-depth review of analytical work conducted to date by the Review and provide advice, guidance and recommendations. A key objective will be to support the Review in its analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of current federal public sector policies and practices versus those of the private sector. Bringing strong private sector experience to the project, the Resource will describe best business practices to consider and will recommend improvements where needed. The Resource will propose innovative solutions to improve the management of real property, inclusive of optimal investment practices and business models as required.
