The Project Management Office for the Canada Surface Combatant (PMO CSC) is aware that potential bidders may have to obtain the approval of their government to export the technical data and information required to respond to a Request for Proposal for the CSC.
The purpose of this notice is to advise potential bidders that the PMO CSC will review and sign, if the documentation is acceptable to Canada, as expeditiously as possible any end-use or end-user assurances or other documentation that may be required to obtain export approval.
Firms which can demonstrate experience in the design of Warships, Combat Systems and/or Combat System Integration will be afforded the opportunity to gain Department of National Defence signature on end-use or end-user assurances or other documentation that may be required by the export regulations in place in its home country. Firms are requested to provide all documentation which requires PMO action in English or French.
Any potential bidder as described above, which is restricted by the requirement for end-use or end-user assurances, is requested to contact PMO CSC by return e-mail to P••••••••@••••••••.••.ca in order to ascertain what if any action is required by the PMO to ensure timely access to data required for sharing or bidding purposes.
