The work of this contract will encompass the upgrade of the pumphouse and salter intakes at the Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Pacific Science Enterprise Centre (PSEC) facility.
Work under this Contract comprises general construction of:
Three (3) new saltwater intakes, including but not limited to:
Supply and installation of the HDPE pipe, weights, fittings, intake structures, vault, and appurtenancesExcavation for intake trenches along the foreshore, including dewatering and shoring as required, and subtidal burial as specifiedAny removals or abandon-in-place of existing intakes in the footprint of the new intakesRestoration of existing surrounding components, such as, vegetation, and shoreline landscape.Commissioning of intakes, including testing and flushing as applicable
