Fab & Del 4.75m-5.3m one Aluminum Jet Boat
SUMMARY:
The Statement of work is as follows:
Carry out the design, construction, test, trial and delivery of
one (1) 4.75 M to 5.3 m Aluminium boat with trailer for
Environement Canada (EC) in accordance with the associated
Technical Specifications detailed in the Statement of Work and
Project Management Services attached as Annexes A and H.
DELIVERY:
Delivery of the boat and all other deliverables are required by
the contract to be at destination on or before 15 May 2015.
MISSON STATEMENT:
Environment Canada is the responsible agency for enforcing
federal environmental (pollution) legislation in Canada.
Response to spills on the water dictates the requirement for a
quickly deployable jet drive boat in the 4.75-5.3 metre range
that is capable of navigating shallow, fast moving rivers.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VESSEL:
1. Length: = 4.75 M to 5.3 M maximum
2. Fuel capacity = 220 Liters minimum
3. Crew of 3 = 300 kg
4. Equipment & supplies = 200 kg
MANDATORY CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS:
1. Transport Canada Marine Safety Regulation TP 1332
"Construction Standards for Small Vessels", which incorporate
references to ABYC standards for equipment such as fuel tanks
and fuel systems, as well as tank space ventilation, and ISO
standards for stability, loading capacity, etc. as delegated to
ISO 12217-1.

This Purchase is being made under GSIN N1940G, and therefore
subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade and the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
