General:
A Heat Flow Meter is being purchased for testing purposes by the National Research Council of Canada. The NRC is looking for the delivery, installation and a training session to be performed by the Contractor.
Technical Specifications include (but are not limited to):
*Instrument must be able to test samples for thermal conductivity in compliance to ASTM C518 and ISO 8301 standard test methods.
*Instrument must be able to test samples with thickness up to 200.0 mm.
*Instrument must have a built-in system to determine sample thickness and continuously measure it.
*Instrument must be able to automatically measure sample thickness with a minimum resolution of ± 0.1mm
*Instrument must be able to analyze samples of square shape with dimensions of 609.6 mm x 609.6 mm ±25.4 mm.
*Instrument must have an active measuring area of 254.0 mm x 254.0 mm ±12.7 mm.
*Instrument must allow both the top and bottom plates to be heated and cooled.
