Scope/Description:
.1 Perform Wastewater Upgrades Planning services at Boulton Creek and Fortress Junction within Peter Lougheed Provincial Park.
.2 The project scope includes assessing existing wastewater infrastructure and developing conceptual designs for capital upgrades at Boulton Creek and Fortress Junction within Peter Lougheed Provincial Park. The work includes infrastructure condition assessments, feasibility studies, options analysis, geotechnical investigations, cost estimates, and prioritization of recommended upgrades.
.3 The assessment will include the wastewater systems serving the Boulton Creek full-service campground, comfort station, maintenance shop area, dump station, camper's store (Trading Post), and the Fortress Junction service station and staff residence. Existing treatment and disposal systems will be evaluated with consideration for seasonal operation, winterization requirements, system capacity, and long-term operation.
.4 The project will evaluate aging wastewater infrastructure that has reached the end of its operational life and requires significant upgrades, replacement, and/or modernization. The assessment will consider current operational challenges, including high-strength wastewater generated from the Boulton Creek dump station and serviced campground facilities.
.5 The wastewater infrastructure assessment and planning process will inform a conceptual design for future capital upgrades.
.6 Work under this contract includes all components identified in the RFP.

ANTICIPATED PROJECT SCHEDULE
.1 The project schedule calls for commencement of Contract by October 19, 2026 and completion of Services by March 12, 2027.
