*Pricing shall be based on a quantity of snowmaking chemicals sufficient to treat 1,000,000 gallons of water, inclusive of all delivery costs. This quantity is for evaluation purposes only. The resulting contract will be for the supply and delivery of snowmaking chemicals on an as-required basis throughout the season, until March 31, 2027. Quantities are estimates only and do not constitute a guarantee of volume. Historical seasonal usage has ranged from approximately 10 million to 13 million gallons of water treated.
The Park utilizes a variety of snow-making equipment throughout our system, including:
- Snow lances: Equipped with four-jetted nozzles per lance.
- Ratnik ground guns: Ground-mounted snowmaking guns.
- SMI Puma fan guns: Fan-style snowmaking guns.
- TechnoAlpin T40 fan guns: Fan-style snowmaking guns.
The Goods must meet or exceed the following specifications.
1.1.1 Snowmaking chemicals to treat 1,000,000 gallons of water. For this Specification 1.1.1, please indicate the following:
a) Unit Of Measure
b) Minimum (required or recommended) Delivery amount
c) Delivered price – this should be based on a minimum order requirement/ recommendation (for comparison purposes)
1.1.2 Snowmaking chemicals for the Hidden Valley Skill Hill that is compatible without modifications to existing resort snowmaking infrastructure (above). For this Specification 1.1.2, please indicate the following:
a) The recommended application rate and dosing instructions.
b) Product specifications and manufacturer literature to demonstrate compatibility with the equipment at the ski hill and that the solution can be delivered without clogging, fouling, corroding, scaling, or causing damage to nozzles, pumps, compressors, piping, valves, or other snowmaking equipment.
