French Language Training(Web-based)

Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) requires contractors to provide
French language training services to VAC employees during normal
working hours at VAC Head office in Charlottetown, Prince Edward
Island. The service will be required on an as and when
requested basis during the period from date of issuance
(expected to be April 1, 2013) for one year with options to
extend for up to five additional one year periods. The
contractor will be required to provide five hours of teaching
time and 1one hour of preparation time per week per class (to a
maximum of twelve hours per week) to support a 2computer based
French training program.
All proposed resources must demonstrate; a minimum of one (1)
year within the last three (3) years of experience teaching
French as a second language to groups of adults; and hold an
undergraduate degree in any field related to the requirement or
have a combination of training and at least one (1) year
experience in using adult education techniques.
Bidders must provide a detailed résumé for each proposed
resource (in English) describing relevant French Language work
experience, and indicating when the work was carried out,
identifying the client (name, telephone), and clearly
demonstrating the individual's education and work experience. A
minimum of two (2) references must be included with each résumé.

procurement services to the public in both official languages.
