The aim of this contract is to provide a mountaineering experience of 5 nights to 60 people, operating in six groups of 10 people each (two adults per group), from August 7-11, 2017. The group will arrive on the morning of 7 August, and depart on the morning of 12 August 2017. Additionally, DND will provide a three-person coordination team that will remain at a central location throughout the six days.

The Contractor will be required to provide training, accommodations, meals, and transportation for the four and a half-day/five night mountaineering-focused training program in accordance with the Statement of Work herein.

This procurement is conditionally limited to Canadian services. The evaluation team will determine first if there are two or more bids with a valid Canadian Content certification. In that event, the evaluation process will be limited to the bids with the certification; otherwise, all bids will be evaluated. If some of the bids with a valid certification are declared non-responsive, or are withdrawn, and less than two responsive bids with a valid certification remain, the evaluation will continue among those bids with a valid certification. If all bids with a valid certification are subsequently declared non-responsive, or are withdrawn, then all the other bids received will be evaluated.
