GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Department of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) wishes to retain the services of a contractor to conduct official language training.
ESDC is therefore soliciting proposals to fulfill the following statement of work.
STATEMENT OF WORK:
SSPB requires language training for Federal public servants who need to obtain a level BBB or CBC to meet language requirements for their positions, and other SSPB employees that require language training, in English or French, at varying levels, including support and training to enable bilingual interaction or presentations.
The language training must be based on the Programme de français langue seconde (PFL2) for the French training or the Communicative English Work Program (CEWP) for the English training. Both methodologies are recognized by the Canada School of Public Service for Federal Government employees.
CONTRACT PERIOD/OPTIONS
The period of the Contract is from contract award date and ends 12 months later.
Option to Extend the Contract
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to 2 additional 1 year period under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment.
Any one interested in submitting a proposal is required to acquire the complete Request for Proposal (RFP) bid package from our service provider, BuyandSell, at www.buyandsell.gc.ca.
