DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:
The Department of National Defence (DND) Canadian Forces Protective Services Unit (CFPSU) has a requirement for the provision of Close Protection (CP) advanced weapons handling courses for CFPSU members as follows: Advanced Weapons Handling train the trainer seven (7) day course and Advanced Weapons Handling (Close Quarter Battle) CQB Refresher Training three (3) day course. Training requirements will be called up on an “as and when requested” basis. All courses must be delivered in the National Capital Region
BACKGROUND:
CFPSU is tasked to maintain a high readiness CP capability. In order to ensure CP operator skills are retained for the CFPSU task, Advanced Weapons Handling train the trainer and Advanced Weapons Handling CQB refresher training is required. Each member attending this refresher training will have previously successfully completed the Canadian Forces CP Operators Course (CF CPOC).
PERIOD OF THE STANDING OFFER
The period of the Standing Offer will be for one (1) year from date of award, plus two (2) one (1) year option periods.

This requirement is Unclassified and there is no security associated with this requirement.
