COLD WET WEATHER GLOVES

REQUIREMENT: The Department of National Defense has a
requirement for cold wet weather gloves to be manufactured in
accordance with the Department of National Defense
specifications Annex B Manufacturing Data DSSPM 2-3-87-9019
dated 20 February 2011, which includes Appendices #1 - 5
(Leather, Insert, Insulater, Lining and CADPAT TW Spec
D-80-001-500/SF-001, 2009-12-04), Annex C and Annex D and sealed
pattern DSSPM 326-01, pattern drawing GCWCF14- Size A to N.

FIRM QUANTITY: 8,000 pairs to be delivered to Montreal, Quebec.

TWO OPTION QUANTITIES: For a minimum of 4,000 pairs up to a
maximum of 8,000 pairs as required by DND, and exercisable
within a period of twelve and twenty four (24) months from
contract award date.

DELIVERY REQUESTED: To be completed by March 1, 2013 or sooner.

Technical Data will be automatically issued to bidders, under
separate cover, upon request for the bid documents from Merx.
Therefore, it is imperative that the request for the bid
documentation be done as soon as possible to ensure timely
receipt of the associated technical data. The Crown will not be
held responsible for untimely release of technical data because
the technical data package as well as the sealed patterns shall
be available for viewing at the following Public Works and
Government Services Canada regional offices: Quebec, Quebec,
Montreal, Quebec, Mississauga, Ontario, Edmonton, Alberta and
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Vancouver, B.C.

To assure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to
the bid closing date.
