Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a
requirement, on behalf of the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), to
establish Supply Arrangements (SAs) for Ship Engineering,
Repair, and Maintenance Activities (SERMA).

SAs are non-binding agreements between PWGSC and suppliers to
provide a range of services on an "as requested" basis. They
are essentially a list of qualified suppliers for certain
services with a set of predetermined terms and conditions that
would apply to any subsequent contracts issued under the SA.

The overall objective of this SA is to assist the CCG in
Newfoundland and Labrador in supporting and maintaining the
operational capability, efficiency and safety of their surface
fleet. Support of the surface fleet will be done through a
variety of general ship repair trade activities at the base in
St. John's or other locations across the province.

The following are the categories of services that may be
required under this SA:

A. General Marine Electrical Installation or Repair Services
B. Electrical Rotating Machinery and Switchboard Services
C. Alarm Monitoring and Control Systems Services
D. General Marine Machinery Services
E. General Shipboard Welding and Fabrication Services
F. Hydraulic System Services
G. Fire Fighting System and Appliance Services
H. HVAC and Refrigeration System Services

Bidders are invitied to submit under any one, or a combination,
of the above categories.

The Supply Arrangements will be in place for two years.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO BIDDERS:

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all
addenda issued prior to tender closing have been obtained and
addressed in the submitted tender.

Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the tender and
contract documents. The standard Public Works and Government
Services Canada documents may be viewed at
https://buyandsell.gc.ca/policy-and-guidelines/standa…
on-clauses-and-conditions-manual/all.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering
System (GETS) at
https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/tenders. Addenda,
when issued, will be available on GETS.

responsible to inform the tender authority of their intention to
bid.

Bids will be received in English or French at: Public Works and
Government Services Canada, Bid Receiving Unit, 10 Barter's
Hill, P.O. Box 4600, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador A1C
5T2.
