Nature of Requirements:
Gravel, Inuvik, Northwest Territories.
For the supply, delivery, and off-loading of clean engineered
angular crushed gravel as required by the Department of National
Defence, Inuvik, NT and in accordance with the terms and
conditions contained in the Request For a Standing Offer.
1. Offeror must provide ¾ inch minus (defined as up to, but not
exceeding), clean engineered angular crushed gravel during July
and August 2012 in support of Op Nanook 2012 on an as and when
requested basis.
2. The material crushed aggregate shall be crushed rock or
crushed gravel which is hard, durable, tough and free from
vegetative material, other organic matter and other harmful
substances
3. The Offeror must be prepared and able to produce and deliver
2,000 m³ of well graded 3/4 inch minus, clean engineered angular
crushed gravel within 24 hours of notice.
4. The anticipated daily requirement will be between 650 and 700
cubic meters.
5. The Offeror shall be responsible for delivering the crushed
gravel (per above specifications), to an area (approximately 25
km) north of the Inuvik, Mike Zubko Airport (YEV) in Northwest
Territories.
The requirement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land
Claims Agreements (CLCAs): the Inuvialuit Final Agreement and
Gwich'in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
