Nature of Requirements:
1. Requirement:
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC)
Environmental Services (ES) has been retained by the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to manage the lead abatement Work
in Rooms 100 and 103 of the RCMP Calgary Post Garage located at
920 16th Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta. All Work is to be
completed in accordance to these specifications and in
compliance with all relevant codes, guidelines, standards,
criteria, Acts and regulations. All surfaces inside Rooms 101
and 103 including concrete floors, drywall wall surfaces, cinder
block walls, steel I-beams and concrete ceiling decks will be
cleaned by HEPA vacuuming of all surfaces, washing of all
surfaces with a lead-specific cleaning agent, and rinsing of all
surfaces with clean water. Any cleaning agent or water remaining
in the area following cleaning activities will be HEPA-vacuumed
and disposed of as lead waste. Ductwork in Rooms 101 and 103
will be removed and disposed of as lead-containing waste. All
exposed concrete surfaces will be sealed using concrete sealant
in accordance with manufacturers instructions.
2. Code Of Conduct And Certification Provisions:
Prior to award Bidders must submit a complete list of names of
all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder.
Furthermore, as determined by the Special Investigations
Directorate,Departmental Oversight Branch, each individual named
on the list may be requested to complete a Consent to a Criminal
Record Verification form.
3. Trade Agreements:
The proposed requirement is subject to the provisions of the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).
4. Basis Of Selection:
A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation
to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest
evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
