Hamilton, Ontario. Randle Reef Sediment Remediation, Stage 1
Construction at Hamilton Harbour. Project No: R.050927.001

The Randle Reef Sediment Remediation Project, Stage 1 is to
construct an Engineered Containment Facility (ECF) for future
use.

Work comprises of: Marine installation of a double steel sheet
pile wall. Dredging between walls. The installation of rock
fill between walls and other associated work, as specified in
the Drawings and specification.

This is a two envelope, single phase selection process.

This procurement contains mandatory requirements; failure to
comply will result in rejection of the bid.

Within the Invitation To Tender , the Crown sets out the project
requirements, i.e., the particulars of the project itself and
the broad scope of services required from the contractor.

The duration of work is scheduled to be completed within Twenty
Nine (29) Months from the date of notification of acceptance of
the offer.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
cost category:
Between $20,000,000.00 and $28,000,000.00

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be a optional site visit on May 27, 2015 at
10:00A.M. at the site. Interested bidders
are to meet at Hamilton Harbour, Hamilton, Ontario.
Bidder are to wear their own P.P.E (Personal Protective
Equipment) including hard hat and safety boots. Bidders are
requested to register with the Contracting Officer, Sheila
Dhanna at 416-512-5855, or s••••••••@•••••.gc to confirm
their attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who
will attend 24 hours prior to the site visit

Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
from the bidders' conference will be
included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do
not attend will not be
precluded from submitting a bid.

Notice:
The fabricated steel for the construction of the ECF will be
provided by U. S. Steel Canada (USSC). USSC has signed an
agreement with the Government of Canada committing to supply the
fabricated steel as an in-kind contribution to the Randle Reef
Sediment Remediation Project, however, USSC is currently in
court ordered creditor protection. Therefore,
Bidders/Contactors are advised that Canada may not award, or may
terminate the contract if the steel is not supplied.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "INTEGRITY PROVISIONS - BID" R2710T,
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
TO BIDDERS SI02)

Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a
complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Bidder. If such a list has not been received
by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will
inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the
information. Failure to provide such a list within the required
time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must
always submit the list of directors before contract award.

Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly
completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record
Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals
named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay.
Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will
result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE
BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT"
DOCUMENT)

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
