This Modernization to Ecole Corinthia Park K-6 School will be delivered by Alberta Infrastructure for the Black Gold School Division. The scope of work includes new a mechanical system, new electrical service and system upgrades, new gym floor and upgrades to Learning Commons. In addition, the project includes a small modernization to the administration office, reconfiguration of change rooms to storage rooms, architectural finishes in classrooms and window replacement. The existing school is 4,341 m² and will remain unchanged. Interim Acceptance for this project is November 20, 2026.
The school will remain occupied for the majority of the construction period. The school will be partially occupied during school holidays and holiday breaks. The construction will occur in approximately five phases and the Contractor (successful Bidder) will be required to maintain student safety and school operations throughout the phased construction.
The project delivery method will be Design-Bid-Build (DBB). The estimated value of the construction contract is approximately $7.5 to $9 million.
