Nature of Requirements:
TITRE : Inspection of steam boilers and supply of chemicals
Description of the Work:
The Contractor must provide the chemicals listed in Part A,
Provision of Chemicals of the Request for Proposal.
In addition, as and when requested, the Contractor must make the
monthly visits required, between November and April (see Part B,
Monthly Visits for Water Analyses of the Request for Proposal),
for the chemical treatment of the water in the following steam
boilers:
Three (3) primary steam boilers (100 lbs) in building 57;
Three (3) secondary low-pressure steam boilers at Defence
Research and Development Canada - Valcartier, South Side,
buildings 1, 2 and 4;

Period of the Contract
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31,
2016 inclusive.

There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.
Basis of Selection
A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation
to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest
evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
