Requirement
The Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement to perform a survey
of main rotating electrical propulsion machinery and propulsion
transformers onboard the T1100 vessels, including the CCGS Sir
William Alexander, CCGS Edward Cornwallis and CCGS Pearkes in
accordance with the provided Statement of Work, dated January
2014.
The context of this assessment is to highlight any deficiencies
that may impact the intended 17 + year service life of the
vessel.
A list of mandatory requirements are listed in the Request For
Proposal which have to be met before any further evaluation will
take place.
The required drawings and manuals will be made available for
download.

The work shall be carried out at Canadian Coast Guard Bases as
follows:

Work Period

SOURCING STRATEGY
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance
with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy
(1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex
1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
