Amendment No.001 is raised to annouce an optional site visit
date and to extend the bid closing date.
Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces Base (CFB)
Borden in Borden, Ontario requires Playground Inspection and
Repair service to be provided by a Certified Playground
Inspector. The Certified Playground Inspector is required to
perform annual inspection for ten playground sites located
inside CFB Borden each year and provide inspection reports. The
Certified Playground Inspector is also required to perform
repair service on an as-and-when-requested basis should such
service be authorized by the Project Authority.
The contract period will be one-year from the date of contract
award with an option to extend the contract period for an
additional two (2) one-year periods.
Mandatory technical criteria include but is not limited to:
1. Before Bid Closing Date and Time, the Bidder must
demonstrate in its bid that the proposed resource who will
perform the work described in Annex A Statement of Work is a
Certified Playground Inspector in the Province of Ontario.
Bidder must provide proof of the proposed resource's valid
Playground Safety Inspector Certification issued by a credible
organization such as the Canadian Parks and Recreation
Association (CPRA) or Ontario Parks Association.
Should Bidder fail to provide proof of the proposed resource's
certification in its bid submission, the bid will be deemed
non-responsive. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inquire
acceptability of the proposed resource's Certification before
Bid Closing Date.
Please refer to the Request for Proposal for the detail list of
all mandatory requirements. Bidder must meet all mandatory
requirements in order to be deem responsive. The Basis of
Selection will be based on lowest-priced responsive bid.
