Fire Lookout Tower Semi Annual Inspections/Repairs - CFB
Gagetown & Training Area
Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the
furnishing of all labour, material, tools and equipment required
to provide inspection and maintenance services for fire lookout
towers in CFB Gagetownand Training Area, Oromocto, N.B. The work
includes, but is not limited to, the following: Tower operation
inspections, provision of a written report after inspections on
condition of equipment and recommendations for repairs,
maintenance specified by Engineer and a final report indicating
repairs carried out. All work is to be completed in accordance
with the Specification Number L-G2-7500/247 forming part of the
bid document. The Service Contract is from April 1, 2014 to
March 31, 2015, with options to renew for two additional one
year periods.
New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents requires attention.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
category: Less than $100,000 (HST extra).
