Nature of Work:

Fisheries and Oceans Canada requires the installation of two (2) new electrical shrouds at the BIO, required to accommodate new Mid-Shore Patrol Vessels (MSPVs) in the region.

Contractors are to provide a cost estimate for the installation based on the specification document attached. This estimate will include all materials and equipment needed to complete installation such as machine time, material costs, delivery etc.

Bidders are instructed to consult the tender package for further details and specific requirements.

Tender documents must be downloaded from www.buyandsell.gc.ca. Those who submit a bid agree to be bound by the instructions, clauses and conditions of the solicitation and accept the clauses and conditions of any resulting contract.

Site Locations: Bedford Institute of Oceanography, 1 Challenger Dr., Dartmouth, NS

Mandatory Site Visit: is to be held on Wednesday, November 26th, 2014 at 12:00pm local time at the BIO. It is a requirement for all persons wishing to tender on this project to attend this meeting to familiarize themselves fully with the scope of work and the tendering requirements.

Start Date: Contract award.

Completion Date: All work to be completed by 31 March 2015.

The onus is on the bidder to ensure that the bid is delivered on time to the location designated.
