Work Description:
Public Works and Govenment Services Canada (PWGSC) has
identified the requirement for a Soil Remediation System (STS)
at the Whitehorse Airport (WHA).
The work scope of this design/build specification si for the
provision and installation of an in-situ soil remediation
system. The ork consists of the following tasks:
1. Design/build of the System Container and Components as
described
2. Transportation of the system from the fabrication facility
to the site
3. Unloading and placement of the system at the site between
Hangars D and E
1. Hangars D and E are located on the north west side of the
airport
2. Approximate System Location:

4. Connection and start-up commissioning
Work of this contract comprises the following:
1. Work of this contract comprises supply of a Soil Remediation
System at the Whitehorse Aiport (WHA) Whitehorse, Yukon
2. Transportation, unloading, placement, connection and
commissioning of the system to the WHA.
3. Pre-delivery inspection with Department Representative at
the manufacturing facility
4. Work is further identified as PWGSC Project Number
R.051615.001
Site Visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make enquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
Delivery Date:
All work must be completed prior to March 31, 2013.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
300,000.00 to 350,000.00.
