Work Description:
Work under this Contract comprises installation of Drug Loo unit
in Housing Unit / Segregation (Unit J&K) including; demolition
of existing concrete block wall and relocation of existing
electrical services, new concrete block enclosures and secure
Drug Loo Cell including fixtures connection of sanitary line to
existing underfloor plumbing and to water supply, electrical
connection, making good all surfaces, including removal of
existing floor tiles and providing polished concrete floor
finish and remedial work.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed within ten (10) weeks.

Site Visit Date:
A site visit has been scheduled for 12th December 2012 @ 10:30
AM PST. Contractors are to meet at the PWGSC site office at
4732 Cemetary Road, Agassiz, BC. Contractors are to note that
this is not a mandatory site visit and is optional. However, it
is recommended that contractors visit the site prior to closing.

All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets
WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site
visit. No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop
computers are allowed into institutions at any time.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between
$95,000.00 - $105,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX service
provider. Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
service provider. Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
tender calling authority of their intention to bid. In all
cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
provided on the tender form the identification number (s) of the
addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
their bid.

public in English.
