SCOPE OF WORK

This project involves the installation of new walk-in freezer rooms and a walk-in cold room in the Hydraulics Wing at the Canada Centre for Inland Waters in Burlington, Ontario, with a new permanent structure.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Install walk-in freezer in the hydraulics wing at the Canada Centre for Inland Waters, as specified in the tender drawings and specifications
• Walk-in rooms shall have 5” thick wall panels and floor, as specified in drawings and specifications
• Supply and install new outdoor condensing units, evaporators, suction & discharge lines as specified
• Provide power to all items requiring power, as shown in the tender drawings and specifications

All contractors intending to bid are requested to attend the mandatory site examination meeting. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site, examine the drawings and discuss projects details. All contractors attending the site visit will need to present photo identification at the front desk. The site visit will be held at the following date and location, as stated below:
Interested bidders are invited to meet at Environment Canada, Canada Centre for Inland Waters, 867 Lakeshore Rd. Burlington, Ontario on the 8th of January, 2014 at 10:00am local time.

Failure to attend the “Site Visit” will result in bidder’s disqualification.
