Nature of Requirements:
Title: Confined Space Training
The client is the Canadian Joint Incident Response Unit -
Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CJIRU - CBRN),
based at CFB Trenton, Ontario.
Requirement: The objective is to secure the services of a
Contractor to provide an Instructional Program, based on
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards, for both
High Angle Rescue and Confined Space Rescue, along with the
specialized training services and all of the necessary materials
required to deliver the training. The Contractor shall also be
able to provide a one day (8 hr) re-certification program for
each course. The work is fully detailed in Annex A "Statement
of Work".
Delivery Date: The period of the Contract is from Date of
Contract Award to 30 November 2013 inclusive, with the
irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to
two additional one year periods under the same conditions
Trade Agreements: The requirement is subject to the provisions
of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government
Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement
(NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT)
