PROCUREMENT (NPP) FROM 02 FEBRUARY 2015 TO 11 FEBRUARY 2015 AT
2:00 PM.

HD Test Truck Weight Trailer

Measurement Canada (MC), Markham, ON requires the supply,
fabrication and delivery of an HD Test Truck Weight Trailer. The
HD Test Truck Weight Trailer will be towed by the current
Measurement Canada 2003 Sterling Test Truck in order to perform
weight scale tests for the trade of materials under the Weight
and Measures Act. Four (4) rows of weights must be removed from
the Test Truck and added to the trailer that will be towed by
the Test Truck.

General Mandatory Requirements are:

1. The bidder must have experience fabricating customized short
bed trailers;
2. The bidder must provide their design for the Test Weight
Trailer with their bid;
3. Although Measurement Canada requires the complete fabrication
and delivery of the Test Weight Trailer by March 31,
2015, bidders must provide their best estimate for delivery with
their bid.

Mandatory Site Visit

It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the
site visit to be held at Measurement Canada, 232 Yorktech Dr,
Markham, ON L6G 1A6 on January 23, 2015. The site visit will
begin at 11:00 AM EST.

Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than January 22, 3015 at 4:00PM EST to confirm attendance and
provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders
will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should
confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit.
Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not
send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any
clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from
the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
solicitation.
