The Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Forces Base
Borden, on behalf of the Regional Cadet Support Unit (RCSU), has
a requirement to procure a variety of musical instruments,
accessories and supplies for the Cadet Music Program that
develops the cadet bands.
The Contractor must supply and deliver fully functional musical
instruments, accessories and supplies that are durable and
relatively low-maintenance but at the same, of appropriate
quality to provide meaningful music skill development. The
musical instruments, accessories and supplies must also visually
and audibly match current holdings. Therefore, the exact make
and model, where specified under Article 6, is required and
substitutions will not be accepted.
More than one contract may be awarded as a result of this
solicitation.
The period of the Contract is from date of Contract award ending
March 31, 2015.
The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory
evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting
documentation. Failure to provide supporting documentation by
bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed
non-responsive.

A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation
and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be
declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest
evaluated price on an item by item basis will be recommended for
award of a contract(s).
The Bidder must submit pricing in accordance with Annex B -
Basis of Payment, in Canadian Funds.
Delivery Date: 31/01/2015
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
