Nature of Requirement:
Public Services Procurement Canada (PSPC), on behalf of the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI), is requesting Industry feedback regarding an upcoming procurement opportunity on specialized consulting and professional services on an as and when requested basis to the OSFI with the required expert advice capabilities to pursue complex and/or labour intensive supervisory interventions directed towards federally regulated financial institutions and private pension plans (FRFIs and PPPs) in a timely and confidential manner.
Tasks that could be requested to be performed by a Contractor would fall under the following Pass SA Streams.
Stream 1 Internal Audit Services
A. Governance and internal controls
Stream 3 Information Technology and Systems Audits
B. Information technology, information security and operational management
Stream 4 Forensic Audits
C. Forensic auditing
Stream 6 Financial Accounting Services
D. Asset and liability valuation, (including liquidation analysis), earnings quality and capital adequacy
E. Credit quality assessment including liquidation analysis
F. Fee-based businesses
G. Liquidity/funding risk and cash flows
H. Recovery and resolution related services
I. Actuarial services
J. Claims management services
K. Reinsurance services
L. Accounting and Financial Reporting Services
M. Asset and liability valuation for Pension plans
Purpose of the Request for Information:
The objectives of this RFI are to:
a) Allow suppliers to comments on the proposed approach, the adequacy and the clarity of the revised statement of work and technical evaluation criteria.
b) Hold one on one consultations with Industry to gather specific input and feedback with regards to the revised requirement.
This is the procurement process to replace previous RFP reference number 59017-180004/B.
