The PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
English.
Requirement:
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf
of Health Canada, Vancouver Drug Analysis Services (DAS)
Laboratory in Burnaby, BC has a requirement for two (2) Fourier
Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer coupled with an
Attenuated Total Reflectance (ATR) Systems and Accessories.
The FTIR system(s) will be used to support the analysis of
various materials including but not restricted to controlled
substances from illicit manufacture, pharmaceuticals, and
unknowns. The purpose of the analysis includes but is not
restricted to verifications of standards to be used against
samples, identifications of crystalline materials, and
identification of impurities and/or cutting agents.
The successful Contractor must be responsible for the supply and
delivery of the two (2) FTIR/ATR Systems on or before March 31,
2015, and must install the two new equipment to full
operational mode and provide on-site training on or before April
30, 2015.
There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).

procurement.
