Title: Kingsgate Border Asphalt Paving
Location: Kingsgate Border Crossing, Kingsgate, BC

Work Description:
Work under this Contract comprises of general construction from
paving of the existing gravel commercial parking area at the
Kingsgate Port of Entry in Southeastern British Columbia.

Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not
limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract
documents:
1) Prepare, re-grade, and test the base gravels.
2) Complete asphalt paving and complete tests.
3) Complete site restorations to match existing conditions.
4) Provide the Department Representative with all test reports
and final documentation
5) Other work listed in the plans and specifications document.

Site Visit:
Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or
investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.

A site visit will be held on the following date and time:
Contractors are to meet at the Kingsgate Border Crossing located
in Southeastern BC.
Date: September 5, 2012
Time: 09:30 a.m
Location: Kingsgate Border Crossing. Bidders to meet at the
front of the CBSA Main Building.
Parking & Access: Driving toward Hwy 95 southbound. When
reaching near the border after passing the steel bridge, keep on
left and enter the "Local Traffic Only" Lane, following the
"Kingsgate Road". You may park your vehicle at the "CBSA Staff
Parking" on the east side of the Facility. (Note: gravel surface)

Interested bidders are required to provide their name(s) and
company names to Tian Lam at t•••••••@•••••.••.ca no later than
24 hours prior to the site visit. The front gate commissionaires
will only allow access to the site if previous visitor
information is provided and name(s) appear on the visitor list.

Delivery Date:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within four
[4] weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the
offer.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost around
$100,000 to $140,000.
