SCOPE OF WORK :
Work of this Contract comprises removal of the existing traffic
light system and installation of new traffic lights and gates
system, located at 386 Ontario Street, Kingston; and further
identified as LaSalle Causeway, PWGSC Project Number
R.013375.019. The work is to be completed in accordance with
all specification and drawings.
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 12
weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
The site visit for this project is optional. Arrangements have
been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be
held on the 26th October 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interested bidders
are to meet at LaSalle Causeway Bridge Office, 386 Ontarion
Street, Kingston, Ontario - K7L 4Y8.
Mandatory health and safety protection is to be worn by visitors.
***Please Note: This site visit will serve as an opportunity
for contractors to walk around the site and view the area(s)
where the work is to be completed. Enquiries of a technical or
contractual nature will not be answered during the site visit.
Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version.
Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and
Contract Documents. The Standard documents are issued by Public
Works and Government Services Canada and may be viewed on the
MERX electronic Bulletin Board as part of the information

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION -
BID" OFR2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS SI01 3)
Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a
complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the Bidder. If such a list has not been received
by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will
inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the
information. Failure to provide such a list within the required
time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must
always submit the list of directors before contract award.
Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly
completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record
Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals
named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay.
Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will
result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE
BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 1)
