Repair and Maintenance to Water Based Fire Suppression Systems
and Components at 5CDSB , CFB Gagetown

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the
establishment of a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO).
The work covered under this Standing Offer Agreement, comprises
the furnishing of all labour, materials, tools and equipment
required to provide repairs and maintenance to Components at 5
CDSB Gagetown, Oromocto, New Brunswick. The period of the
Standing Offer will be from Award to March 31, 2017. All work is
to be performed in accordance with the Specification No.
L-G2-9900/1683 forming part of the bid document.

Note:
The Contractors technician shall be a certified sprinkler
fitter, licensed in the province of New Brunswick, who regularly
carries out work on fire suppression systems. Proof of
certification in the form of a Trade License must be provided to
the Engineer prior to award.

The contractor shall have a proven record of proper installation
and maintenance of fire suppression systems. The onsite
technician shall have a minimum of five years experience with
fire suppression systems. Proof of experience must be provided
to the engineer prior to award.

All technical personnel assigned to work on the maintenance and
repair of the system shall have documentation to show they are
trained in the operation of fire suppression systems.

The period of the standing offer will be from award to 31 March
2017.

All work is to be performed in accordance with Specification
Number L-G2-9900/1683 forming part of the bid document.

New measures related to Code of Conduct and certifications
included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
cost category: $100,001 to $250,000. Bid security is not a
requirement for this tender.
