KINGSTON DRY DOCK AND ASSOCIATED LANDS

FILE NUMBER 9075-K027/17-5

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is asking interested parties to submit an expression of interest in connection with the disposition of the Kingston Dry Dock (KDD) and associated lands (the “Property”).

Section A: Property Components

? The KDD is 1.683 ha in size. It is located in a newly revitalized area of mixed uses along the Kingston waterfront. The site is a former dry dock and mooring area for ships. The site is divided into three areas:
1) One public (un-fenced) area that includes the dry dock, a public parking area and four connected buildings which house the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes (Museum);
2) The East Wharf: a non-public (fenced) area; and
3) The West Wharf: a non-public (fenced) area.

? The KDD is designated as a National Historic Site of Canada.
? The Museum occupies the Property pursuant to a licence agreement with PWGSC. Please note that the ship berthed on site is the property of the Museum. As it does not belong to the Government of Canada; it is therefore not included in the sale of the Property.
