Nature of Requirements:
Title : Acquisition of a large aperture laser power meter
(a) Description :
Defence Research & Development Canada - Valcartier is looking
to make the acquisition of a large aperture laser power meter to
measure the emitted laser power from a high energy laser. The
needed power meter must meet the mandatory requirements stated
at annex A, Statement of Requirements.
(b) Deliverables :
The contract deliverables are :
(i) Laser aperture laser power meter (including cables and other
ancillary items) ;
(ii) Readout Licensed Software (if required)
(iii) Calibration certificate (NIST traceable) ;
(iv) Documentation package containing the power meter
specifications and a user manual, including the software user's
guide if applicable.
(c) Delivery period :
All the deliverables must be received at Defence Research &
Development Canada - Valcartier site no later than on March 31,
2013.
(d) Trade agreements :
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
