Defence Research and Development Canada - Valcartier want to
purchase one (1) picosecond laser system for studies of
atmospheric propagation.
Laser sources with narrow spectrum, good beam quality and
divergence are needed in spectroscopy and metrology as well as
for defense applications. There are several technological
configurations for picosecond laser systems with high peak power
and high average power. As part of this project, the picosecond
laser system must be compact, robust and the gain medium to be
pumped by laser diodes. The picosecond laser system will be
incorporated into an existing installation for the study of
atmospheric propagation.
